Coldplay’s Mumbai concerts earlier in January saw tickets selling out within minutes, leading to reports of black marketing and ticketing glitches. The Economic Offences Wing even summoned BookMyShow’s CEO to address these issues.
Skyrocketing Hotel Prices in Ahmedabad
The upcoming concert has driven hotel prices in Ahmedabad to over ₹50,000 per night. To save costs, many fans are considering accommodations in nearby Vadodara, where rates are significantly lower.

This tour marks Coldplay’s first full-scale performance in India since their 2016 Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai. The band will perform in Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on January 18, 19, and 21 before heading to Ahmedabad.
